Late, high, Very, Drive, normal, 40's



Question by dleeldy: Is it normal to have a very high sex drive when you are in your late 40's?

It seems the closer I come to menopause the higher my sex drive is, I want to know if this is abnormal or what?

There is NO SUCH THING as "normal" in relation to Menopause... what happens to one will NOT always happen to another... some women's sex drives INCREASE and some decrease... some women have night sweats and hot flashes and others don't. Is it ABNORMAL to have an increased sex drive.? I would say NO... because I TOO have a higher sex drive NOW (having already gone THROUGH menopause) then I did PRIOR to starting menopause...I'd just say ENJOY it and take care of it....and use it wisely.
